Come to this show to get answers, seek guidance, and find options that meet your family needs no matter which stage of motherhood you are in.
I am Lori Carrese, and the coordinator and founder of the Mom EXPO. I've have had the pleasurable and unique experience of forming a mommy group, where I've been fortunate to share my experiences with other women through both online and off-line interactions. Our group ran for four years, and was very near and dear to my heart, and it's because of my passion for continuing my bond with fellow moms, as well as devoting additional time with my daughter's for social interaction, my mompreneur abilities modified my media business to add a mommy marketing division. Why? I love what I do! I pair moms with their needs, and businesses who target moms, with theirs. It's a very satisfying role in my journey.
The reason for coordinating this EXPO, is because as a mommy group organizer, I was inspired by our moms who ask questions about their journey of motherhood and look upon other moms for advise and comfort when they don't know if what they're doing is right. Some are more confident than others, but most of us first time moms experience uncertainty in our abilities as a new parent, and sometimes just need reassurance and seek compassion during times of doubt. This is also why I chose the theme of our first year event to be "Positive Affirmations of A Mother's Journey". Sometimes we just need to remind ourselves that what we do is important, and we do matter every day as we raise our children.
Mom EXPO will come together to "Celebrate A Mother's Journey" for many years to come. We've now grown to a national level, so join us during our National 2014 Tour; www.themomexpo.com

Rhoost Moms know about Parenting. School is about to start again and in our district kids are required to use mesh backpacks. This gives very little room for individuality so we were trying to figure out a way to personalize their backpacks. Cue Gutzy Gear! They make backpack strap covers and have a huge variety of patches that attach via Velcro to them. There are designs to fit every kid’s personality, from flowers and butterflies to pirates and superheroes! The strap attaches very well to the backpack and doesn’t hinder my son from carrying it at all, and the Velcro patches are strong enough that they won’t be lost. Visit www.gutzygear.com to find a store or shop online!
